What it is,
and why
Illustration shows the direct con¬
tact flame, exactly like a gas stove.
This burner can be turned very
low without emitting the slightest
odor.
The “Kitchenkook” Burner.
It should be clearly understood that the “Kitchenkook” is not
an oil stove. Neither is it a benzine stove in the usual sense, and
it should not be confused with ordinary kerosene or benzine stoves,
for it is entirely different in design, construction and principle of
operation ; far superior in speed, cleanliness, safety, and economy
“KITCHENKOOK” EQUALS CITY GAS SERVICE.
The ‘"Kitchenkook” is a gas stove. It places the convenience
of city gas service, with its speed and cleanliness, at the disposal of
every home, no matter where it is located. It has all the desirable
features of city gas, with even greater cooking speed at lower
operating cost. ""Kitchenkook” makes and burns its own gas from
ordinary benzine, producing a clear blue flame which is entirely free
of smoke, soot and odor, not only while the stove is new, but per'
manently.
GREATER COOKING SPEED-LOWEST OPERATING
COST.
Comparative tests show that the ""Kitchenkook” produces more
heat than city gas, that it is fifty to one hundred per cent, faster
than kerosene, and that the operating cost is less.
Dear Sirs,
I cannot praise my
“KITCHENKOOK” too
highly. It has done every¬
thing you claimed for it,
and never once failed me.
As you know, I use it in
connection with my Re¬
freshment Rooms, and it
has paid for itself ten
times over. I find it much
cheaper than wood.

Dear Sirs,
The “K I T C H E N-
K O O K” has proved a
wonderful boon. I am
delighted with it, and find
it even cheaper to burn
than you said. Scz'oal of
my friends have installed
them and are zvell satis¬
fied. I won three prizes
at the local Show> with
scones and cakes cooked
in mine. Every home in
the country should have
one.

Blue Flame Match Lighter
The Kitchenkook” is easy to light, the Match
Lighter providing a quick, positive means of genera'
tion, without the use of alcohol. The flame of a match
is first applied to the matchdighter generator for a
few seconds, then on opening the valve the lighter
immediately ignites, focussing a hot, blue, blow-torch
flame on the stove generator.
Generating requires less than one minute. The
supply valve is then opened, and the master burner
immediately starts off at full height, or with any size
flame desired, the flame being instantly regulated as
wanted by means of the needle valve. Every
^Kitchenkook is equipped with a matchdighter.

FUEL TANK WITH PRESSURE AND FUEL
GAUGES.
The “Kitchenkook” is a pressure feed stove, which
means that the fuel which is contained in an electrically
welded, leak'proof steel tank, is forced to the burners
by air pressure. This pressure tank has a hand-operated
idler plug, pressure gauges, oil level gauge, and built-in
air pump- in fact every feature which will contribute
to convenient and economical operation, and uniformly
satisfactory service is found in the “Kitchenkook.” The
fuel capacity of the tank is one gallon.
“KITCHENKOOK” GENERATOR.
The illustration at right side shows on top the "Kitchenkook” gen¬
erator and regulating valve and cleaning needle assembly complete, as use.I
in all “Kitchenkooks” ; and below, a sectional cut showing its extreme
simplicity. This is the “heart” of the stove. The generator is made
of special alloy steel, and contains no wick or packing to obstruct or hold
impurities contained in the benzine ; hence it docs not readily carbonize
and will give years of service. Closing the needle valve removes any cat-
bon deposit which may form in the gas tip, thus cleaning it automatically
every time the flame is turned out.
Dear Sirs,
After having used a three-burner “KITCHENKOOK’'
continuously for the fast twelve months, if has given every
satisfaction, being quick, clean, and economical. There are
four in our family and the fuel costs us four fence fer day.
There are no fumes, therefore it can be used in any room,
and I can thoroughly recommend same to anyone.

The Safety Stove for Children
The “Kitchenkook” is exceptionally, well built
and durable, and it is simple to operate. It has no
complicated mechanism or adjustments, no wicks
or chimneys. The burners do not clog or carbon'
ize in ordinary use. Burners do not screw on, but
may be lifted oif for cleaning if boiled'Over food
clogs them. Because of the pressure under which
“Kitchcnkooks 11 operate, this, however, seldom
occurs.
The “Kitchenkook" need not stand level to
burn properly, in fact it will burn in almost any
position, as the safety test illustration shows. It
cannot burn while being filled. Removing the
filler plug for filling, releases the air pressure, and
the flame automatically goes out. Children can
operate the “Kitchenkook" in perfect safety.
Showing remarkable Safety Test.
1 he “KItchenkook” will burn equally well upside down.
